The Yellowknife Amateur Radio Society (YARS) is an organization of radio enthusiasts in Yellowknife.
Included in the mandate of YARS are the following:
• Promotion of radio knowledge and the hobby of electronics
• Assisting the community with emergency communications in times of crisis.
The Yellowknife Amateur Radio Society is affiliated with the Radio Amateurs
of Canada.
